Senior Director of Foundation & Corporate Giving

The Senior Director of Foundation & Corporate Giving increases support to the National Trust for Historic Preservation by promoting and securing philanthropic support from institutional funders, which includes foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The Senior Director has primary and strategic responsibility for all aspects of a $5-10M foundation and corporate giving program and is the primary manager of high level relationships with institutional funders and prospects, leading these efforts with the engagement and involvement of NTHP staff and volunteers.  The departmentís goals and its work are donor centric, and help provide integrated solutions to meeting the National Trustís and the fundersí needs. The Senior Director is a member of the organizationís front-line fundraising team. To assure sustainable program growth, the department will grow both prospective donor contact and the infrastructure needed to support that growth.  Thus, it will balance outreach and prospect contact with the needed internal contacts, marketing, proposal development, development of systems and other infrastructure building.
